If the generator is emitting white smoke and won’t turn on, it’s likely the air filter needs to be changed. This section goes over how to change the air filter.
- Open the generator panel, use the kickstand to keep the door up, and locate the air filter.
- Release the buckles on top and bottom and take the cap off.
- Pull the old air filter out.
- Push the new air filter in.
- Put the cap back on, securing the buckles.
- Close generator panel door.
