How to Password Protect PDF

Some sensitive files are required to be passworded protected. This section will go over how to password protect a PDF.

Protect Tool #

• Open the PDF you’d like to password protect. Choose “Protect” from the list of tolls on the right-hand side. 

• Click “Protect Using Password” from the toolbar. 

Choose Password #

1. Choose whether you’d like to password protect the document from people viewing or editing. 
2. Type in password. 
3. Click “Apply”. 

Remove Password #

1. To remove password from PDF, choose “Advanced Options” from toolbar. 
2. Click “Remove Security”.
