Sometimes, the team will ask for an IAP with a cover page (or other page within the IAP) in color ink, with the rest of the document in B&W. To do this, extract the page(s) you’d like to have in color, making sure to select “delete after extraction”. Save color pages as a separate file. Make the remaining pages in the document B&W. Combine the extracted color pages with the B&W document and re-order so the color pages are in the correct place. This section will go over how to make a PDF B&W.
Optimize PDF #
- Open PDF you’d like to make B&W. Click “Optimize PDF” from tool list.
Pre-Flight #
- Choose “Preflight” from toolbar.
- In Pre-Flight, double-click “Convert to grayscale”.
- Name new file and choose where to save it. Click “Save”.
