The oil level should be checked everyday to avoid running out. Running out of oil is very detrimental to the generator. If your generator does run out, immediately turn it off and call Wes or Steve Duffy for further instruction. This section goes over how to check the oil level.
- Open the generator panel and locate the oil dipstick.
- Pull the dipstick out and wipe off.
- Put the dipstick back in.
- Pull out again.
- Where the oil sits on the dipstick indicates oil levels.
