How to Use Hot Lamination Machine

This article goes over how to laminate 8.5×11 and 11×17 paper using the hot lamination machine.

Lamination Machine #

  • The hot lamination machines are used for laminating size 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17. 
  • Plug the laminator in and flip the switch on the back of the machine by the power cord.  

  1. Press the power button on the front of the machine. 
  2. Use the arrow keys to select “5 mil”. This refers to the thickness of the lamination. 
  3. Wait until you see the red flash next to “5 mil”. The machine will beep when it comes to temperature and is ready to use.

Laminate #

  • Insert document in lamination pouch. Make sure document is centered within pouch. 
  • Feed the document through the laminator, closed side first. The machine will beep when finished.
