- Tap “Roll Paper”.

- Tap “Remove”.

- Once this graphic appears on the screen, you’re good to carefully remove the roll paper rod.
- Before removing the paper from the plotter, tape the edge with blue painter’s tape.
- Carefully remove the roll paper rod from the plotter.
- Stand the roll paper rod on one end or lay it down on a table.
- Slide the stopper off.
- Remove the roll paper from the rod and gently set it down, being careful not to drop it or set it down too hard (this can damage the paper).
- Slide the new roll on the rod, making sure the paper is unrolling from over the roll, not under.
- When you’re ready to load the new roll, go back to “Paper Settings” on the screen.
Loading Roll Paper #

- You’ll see under “Roll Paper” it will say “Not Loaded”. Select that setting.

- The plotter will prompt you with this graphic to load the roll paper in.
- Slide the roll paper rod into the machine. If the edge of the paper is damaged, cut it as straight as possible before feeding the paper in.
- Feed the edge of the paper into the plotter until you hear the plotter beep, or you feel the paper stop.

- The plotter will prompt you with this graphic to close the roll paper cover.

- Once you close the cover, this screen will pop up. Tap “OK”.
- The plotter will now attempt to finish loading the paper. It will make whirring noises for a few minutes while it does this. If the paper is loaded correctly, it will be ready to go.
- If there is an issue, you’ll hear the plotter beep.
- A common issue is the plotter warning that the paper is “loaded with a skew”. If the plotter registers this error but gives you the option to press “continue”, select that. If the error persists, unload the paper, and reload, making sure the stoppers are secure on each end.
