Similarly to oil, the fuel level should be checked daily. It’s imperative we stay ahead of fuel supply issues so the trailer can stay up and running. This section goes over how to check the fuel level.
- Make sure you’re checking the fuel level on the fuel tank and not the generator itself.
- The fuel tank will be an either white or black, big, metal box attached to the generator.
- On the side of the fuel tank, there will be a tube running from the top to the bottom (pictured above). This is where the fuel level is checked.
- Use the line on the tube to determine how much fuel is left. Never let the fuel dip below a quarter of a tank. If you see it’s at a quarter or less, take action immediately.
